Woman Charged With Felony Assault For Attack On Jailer

Inmate assaults Jailer during booking
On Sunday, May 21st around 6pm, 26 year old Faith Hope Marshall was being booked into the Hood County Jail for Possession of Marijuana (class B misd) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (class C misd).
During the suicide screening, Marshall
answered questions that would automatically place her on suicide watch.
During the process, a female guard began to put Marshall in a paper uniform for her own safety. Marshall then punched the female jailer in the face. The jailer also received an injured foot from the scuffle and was treated and released from Lake Granbury Medical Center.
Marshall was charged with Assault on a
Public Servant (felony 3-bond $15,000).
Marshall is currently in jail at press time.
