Second Tin Top Hwy Fatality This Week

HOOD COUNTY – On November 30, 2022 at approximately 6:23 a. m., Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers investigated a crash on Farm-to-Market Road 2580 five miles from Granbury. 

Preliminary investigation indicates a 2005 Chevrolet Impala was traveling south on FM 2580 when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking in the roadway.  The pedestrian, Joshua T. Burleson, 26, of Azle, died at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet, Garlyn Dale Eye, 54, of Granbury, was uninjured. 

No additional information is available at this time.
