Woman Attempts To Ingest Meth During Traffic Stop

Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

On Wednesday, October 4th around 5pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the 100 block of Hwy. 377 East.

During the stop, 35 year old Brandy Michelle Cummins was found to be in possession of
under a gram of meth and tried to eat the evidence.
Deputies had to wrestle with Cummins to prevent her from eating the meth.
Cummins also brought a meth pipe into the Hood County Jail during the booking
process.
Cummins was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (state
jail felony-bond $5,000), Tampering with Evidence (felony 3-bond $10,000),
Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility (felony 3-bond $10,000), and
Resisting Arrest (class A misd-bond $2,500).

Cummins is currently in jail at press time.
