Welfare check nets drug arrest
On 1-27-21 around 630am, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the
3100 block of Shady Grove Circle ref. a
welfare check of a person slumped over in a
vehicle.
Deputies discovered Zachary Nathaniel
Hargrove (24 yoa), who was in possession of
the following items and tried to eat some
alprazolam pills.
Over 29 grams of THC wax, over 68 grams
of alprazolam pills, approx. 2oz of
marijuana, a gram of oxycodone pills, and
over 9 grams of MDMA pills.

Hargrove was arrested and charged with 2
counts of Man/Del of a Controlled
Substance (felony 1-bond $50,000),
Man/Del of a Controlled Substance (felony
2-bond $20,000), Tampering with Evidence
(felony 3-bond $10,000), Possession of a
Controlled Substance (state jail felony-bond
$5,000), and Possession of Marijuana (class
B misd-bond $2,500). Total $137,500 in
bonds.
Hargrove is currently in jail at press time.
