Update on stranger danger case

On 9-9-20 around 4pm, a Hood County Sheriff’s Deputy located the green SUV involved in the incident where a woman asked 2 young boys if they wanted to pet her dog at the 3100 block of White Horse Ct. Turns out the woman is 87 years old and from the Acton area and didn’t realize it was inappropriate to approach the boys. It doesn’t appear that the woman had any ill-intent or ulterior motive towards the boys and appears to be a misunderstanding.

Regardless, we are glad the young boys
reported the incident to their parents, and
we were able to locate the woman to clear
up the issue.

Anyone with information on the Hispanic
male in the Chevy El Camino, please call the
Hood County Sheriff’s Office at 817-579-
