Hood County Sheriff’s Office: Update on Burglary Ring by “Lost Boys”
Hood County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have been busy following up on leads in the Oak Trail Shores area.
The 4 suspects being investigated are from the prior article: 4 Arrested In Multiple Home Burglaries
Jonathan Dean Petis, Dyllan Pierce Elliot, Nicholas Tanner Lopez Fitzpatrick and Justin Cody Rhea Neuman Jr.,now being referred to as the “Lost Boys” burglary ring, are being investigated for up to 70 burglaries in the last few months. The burglarized areas ranged from vehicles to homes and buildings.
Investigators have discovered the group is accused of stealing a pistol from an unlocked vehicle and was then confronted by the victim. They allegedly shot at the victim before fleeing on foot. No one was injured in this incident.
Investigators deployed the Hood County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team at the Oak Trail Shores Boat Ramp in search for evidence in Lake Granbury.
Investigators were also notified by Sherman Police Department that Pettis was listed as a runaway.
The group is being charged with Engaging In Organized Criminal Activity, which is a Felony 1 with a bond of $50,000.
The charge will encompass a multitude of charges, which include Burglary of a Habitation, Burglary of a Building, Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Trespass, Theft of Firearms, and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
