Traffic Stop yields drug arrest
On Monday, July 17th around 12:30pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the 3600 block of Valley Ridge Dr.
During the stop, 20 year old Shannon Lee Benedict was found to be in possession of over 3 grams of meth.
Benedict was arrested and charged with
Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (felony 2-bond $20,000).
Benedict is currently in jail at press time.
