Traffic Stop Results in 3 Arrests; Seizure of 8 Dogs

 

On 11-02-2018, a GPD officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation which was leaving a location of recently reported drug activity.

The occupants of the vehicle were 54 year old Donald Ray Duke Jr. of Garland, 52 year old Clifford Morris Bowman of Granbury(pictured above), and 22 year old Samantha Jeanne Rarick of Granbury(pictured above).

A probable cause search of the vehicle was subsequently completed, and Methamphetamine was found in the car.

A consent search was also conducted of their motel room, and more Methamphetamine was found. There were eight dogs in the room and they were all taken to the Hood County animal shelter.

Duke was booked for POCS PG1 Less Than 1 Gram, Bowman was booked for outstanding warrants and POCS PG1 Less Than 1 Gram, and Rarick was booked for an outstanding warrant, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Identify – Fugitive for initially providing a fictitious name.
