Traffic Stop Nets Multiple Pills On Suspect

On 1-5-19 around 3pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic
stop at Oak Hill Dr. and Crestview Dr.
During the stop Leann Pacheco (37 yoa) was
found to be in possession of under 2oz of
marijuana and several prescription pills
without a prescription.
Pacheco was arrested and transported to
the Hood County Jail.
While at the jail Pacheco was found to have
multiple prescription pills on her person
during the booking process.

Pacheco was charged Prohibited Substance
in a Correctional Facility (felony 3-bond
$10,000), 2 counts of Man/Del of a
Controlled Substance (state jail felony-bond
$5,000), Possession of a Controlled
Substance (class B misd-bond $1,500),
Possession of Dangerous Drugs (class A
misd-bond $2,000), and Possession of
Marijuana (class B misd-bond $1,500).
Pacheco is currently in jail at press time.
