Traffic Stop Nets Drug Arrest

Traffic stop nets drug arrest
On 2-6-21 around 430pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic
stop at the 3600 block of Hwy. 377 East.
During the stop Paul Eugene Hand (52 yoa)
was found to be in possession of 1.5 grams
of meth, 1.3 grams of hydrocodone, and
under a gram of sildenafil pills without a
prescription.
Hand was arrested and charged with
Possession of a Controlled Substance
(felony 3-bond $10,000), Possession of a
Controlled Substance (Class A misd-bond
$3,000), Possession of Dangerous Drugs

(Class A misd-bond $3,000), and DWLI (Class
B misd-bond $1,000).
Hand is currently in jail at press time.
