Traffic stop leads to firearm arrest
On 12-31-20 around 330 pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic
stop at the 3100 block of Lipan Hwy.
During the stop Matthew Michael Grottalio
(33 yoa), who is a convicted felon, was in
possession of 8 different firearms.
Grottalio was arrested and charged with 8
counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm
(felony 3-bond $10,000 each charge).
Grottalio is out of jail on bond at press time.
