Suspect charged with DWI and Drugs
On 8-27-21 around midnight, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic stop at West Hwy. 377 and Holland Dr.
During the stop Daniel Ryan Kirby (23 yoa) was found to be in possession of 12 grams of THC wax and liquid and over 5 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms.
Kirby was also allegedly intoxicated and charged with DWI.
Kirby was arrested and charged with Man/Del of a Controlled Substance
(2 counts) (felony 1-bond $50,000) and DWI (class A misd-bond $2,000). Kirby is currently in jail at press time.
