Suspect charged with 2 counts Ag Assault
On 12-23-20 around 4am, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a
disturbance at the 3600 block of Canyon Rd.
Deputies discovered Harold Dean Covey Jr.
(47 yoa) allegedly pointed a firearm at his
44-year-old wife and 3-year-old grandchild
during an argument.
No one was seriously injured during the
incident.
Covey was arrested and charged with 2
counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly
Weapon (felony 2-bond $25,000).
