Suspect Arrested On Forgery Case
On 7-25-19 Hood County Sheriff’s Office
Deputies arrested Michelle Laeon Carey (34
yoa) at the 7000 block of Minor Rd. on a
Forgery warrant out of Hood County (state
jail felony-bond $5,000).
The charge stems from Carey allegedly
forging a stolen check to the City of Cresson
on 8-31-18 to pay her utility bill.
Carey is currently out of jail on bond at
press time.
