Suspect Arrested For Stabbing Two Women

On 11-21-18 around 615pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the
3900 block of Peak Rd. ref. a stabbing call.
Deputies discovered Jacob Russell Shaw (20
yoa) allegedly stabbed 2 females during a
disturbance.
The 50-year-old female victim was found
deceased at the scene and a 67-year-old
victim was transported by air ambulance to
JPS Hospital in Ft. Worth.
The 67-year-old underwent surgery and is
listed in critical condition with stab wounds
to the head and chest.

Shaw, who was still at the scene was arrested and charged with Murder (felony
1) and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly
Weapon/Family Violence (felony 1).

Shaw is currently in jail at press time.
The case is under investigation by the Hood
County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas
Rangers.
