Suspect arrested for Injury to a Child
On 9-22-20 around 1pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Joshua
Edward Miller (35 yoa) for Injury to a Child
(felony 3-bond $20,000) and Assault (class A
misd-bond $2,500) at the 8400 block of
Brock Hwy. in Lipan.
The charges stem from Miller allegedly
kicking an 8-year-old child in the mouth and
assaulting her 52-year-old grandmother
during a disturbance on 9-16-20.
The grandmother never called the Hood
County Sheriff’s Office and traveled to a
DFW area hospital, where the hospital staff
called to report it.
Both are out of the hospital at press time.
Miller is currently in jail at press time.
