Suspect Arrested for Injury to a Child

On 8-15-19 around 530pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested Jake
Arron Watson (23 yoa) for Injury to a Child
(felony 3-bond $15,000) at the Hood County
Sheriff’s Office.
The charge stems from a child abuse
complaint where Watson is accused of
beating a 2-year-old child, leaving her with
multiple bruises all over her body.
Watson is the boyfriend of the child’s
mother.
Watson is currently out of jail on bond at
press time.
