Suspect arrested after car pursuit
On 5-15-22 around 4am, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies attempted to stop a Ford pickup occupied by Christopher Allen Manuel (37 yoa) at East Hwy. 377 and Cleveland Rd.
Manuel refused to stop and led multiple units on a car chase that ended at the 11000 block of FM 1187 in Aledo Texas.
Manuel apparently ran out of gas during the car chase, which helped end the pursuit safely.
Manuel was taken into custody without incident.

Manuel was charged with Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle (felony 3-bond $10,000) and had a felony Theft warrant (state jail-bond $1,500) out of Benbrook PD.
Manuel is currently out of jail on bond at press time.
