Shooting Suspect arrested
On 8-13-21 around 4pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Javier Diaz (22 yoa) on 3 felony warrants at Edgecliff Ct. and Lakeview Rd. in OTS.
Diaz had 2 counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (felony 2-bond $20,000) and Tampering with Evidence (felony 3-bond $10,000) charges.
The charges stem from Diaz allegedly shooting at 2 people at the 3200 block of Ashwood Dr. in OTS on 8-11-13 during an argument.
No one was injured or shot during the incident.
Diaz is currently out of jail on bond at press time
