Sheriff’s Office looking for stabbing suspect
On 1-15-22 around 530pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a stabbing at the 7700 block of Sprester Ct. in Tolar.
Deputies discovered James Estrada Jr. (36 yoa) allegedly stabbed his 48-year-old brother in the neck and shoulder.
Estrada fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle and the victim was able to walk to a neighbor’s house to call 911.
The neighbors rendered first aid and assisted the victim by stopping the serious bleeding.

The victim was transported to JPS in Ft. Worth where he was treated and released on 1-18-22.
Hood County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are looking for Estrada, who has a Family Violence Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon warrant (felony 1) and Aggravated Robbery warrant (felony 1).
If anyone knows the whereabouts of Estrada, please call Hood County Crimestoppers at 817-573-TIPS.
Estrada is considered dangerous, so don’t approach him if located.
The case is still under investigation by the Hood County Sheriff’s Office.
