Several Officers Receive Lifesaving Awards

Several Deputies receive lifesaving awards
On 6-28-22 Sheriff Deeds honored the following Deputies in commissioner’s court where lifesaving actions were taken by the Deputies.
On 6-4-22 Deputy Daniel Martin responded to a drowning call at the 200 block of Granada Calle St. Deputy Martin was able to locate the drowning victim and pull him to shore.
On 5-4-22 Deputy Michael Harris responded to a structure fire at the 3300 block of Cedar Dr. And was able to escort a 35-year- old male from the fire and get him medical treatment.

On 2-19-21 Deputies Israel Shelly and Stephen Burge responded to an overdose call at the 300 block of Reed Rd. where a 17-year-old male was unresponsive. Deputies administered Narcan to the victim and was able to save his life.
