Remains Identified as Jennifer Pautenis

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s
Office has identified the remains of Jennifer
Pautenis from dental records provided by
investigators.
The Pautenis remains were discovered on
12-4-19 in a rural area of Hood County
where her husband Edward Pautenis led
investigators.
Edward Pautenis is currently in the Hood
County Jail charged with Jennifer’s death
and has a million-dollar bond on a Murder
charge, along with a Tampering with
Evidence charge ($10,000 bond).
