Suspect in standoff arrested on felony
On 1-9-18 around 430pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the
3000 block of Moon Ct. ref. a man
threatening suicide.
Deputies discovered Christopher Kimes
Parrish (33 yoa), who is a convicted felon
was threatening to shoot himself with
several firearms in the home.
Deputies were able to negotiate with
Parrish and he surrender after an hour long
standoff.
Parrish was arrested and charged with
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
(felony 3-no bond set)
Parrish is currently in jail at press time.
