One Vehicle Accident Sends Man To Fort Worth Hospital (Contains Photo That May Be Sensitive To Some)

On Sunday May 20, 2018 at approximately 3:31 pm the Texas Highway Patrol responded to a one vehicle rollover on US 377 in Hood County at the 326 mile marker near Mule Valley. The Trooper found that a 1990 Dodge Pick Up Truck ,driven by Melvin F Purdue, 70 of Richland Hills Texas was traveling east on US 377 and began to swerve towards the south side of the highway, over corrected and started to side skid back across the east bound lanes and into the center median.  The Dodge rolled back to the north, across the center median, and into the west bound lanes of US 377. Mr. Purdue was taken by ground ambulance to Harris Hospital in Ft. Worth with multiple lacerations and injuries. Mr. Purdue was wearing his seat belt.

Mr. Purdue’s condition is unknown at this time.
