Granbury- On Thursday November 09, 2017 at approximately 12:56 pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Deputy Tyler Looper, 30 of Granbury, was traveling northbound in a Hood County Sheriff’s Department Chevrolet Tahoe on FM 4 approaching Kroger food Store.
A 2013 Toyota Venza driven by Yvonne Sailers, 79 of Granbury, pulled out of the Kroger parking lot failing to yield right of way to the Deputy. The Deputy took evasive action and steered to the left, but struck the Toyota on the front left with the front left of the Chevrolet Tahoe. No Injuries were reported. Sailers was issued a citation for Fail to yield Right of way.
