Inmate assaults 2 Hood County Jailers
On 3-6-21 Hood County Sheriff’s Office inmate Nathaniel Ray Sanders (32 yoa) assaulted 2 jailers during an incident where Sanders was being non-compliant during a cell transfer.
One jailer received a black eye and the other one was not seriously injured during the incident.
Both are doing well and back at work.
Sanders was charged with 2 counts of Assault of a Public Servant (felony 3-bond $20,000).
Sanders, who already had one count pending of Assault of a Peace Officer for assaulting a Deputy on 12-17-20 during his arrest.
Sanders is currently in jail at press time.
