Husband arrested for assault and firearms
charge
On 4-8-18 around 11pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the
8800 block of Bellchase Rd. ref. a
disturbance.
Deputies discovered that Brian David Bevins
(40 yoa) allegedly assaulted his 39 year old
wife during an argument.
Bevins, who is a convicted felon, is accused
of possessing a pistol that was found in the
home.
Bevins was arrested and charged with
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon (felony 3-bond $10,000) and Family
Violence Assault (class A misd-bond $2,500).
No one was seriously injured during the
incident and Bevins is currently out of jail
on bond at press time.
