Mar. 19, 1863,
Fannie Sims Granbury, wife of General Granbury died and was buried in an unmarked grave in Mobile, Alabama.

Mar. 20, 1877,
Six men that were on a hunt were bitten by two polecats and died from Hydrophobia.

Mar. 21, 1913,
Funds of $501.65 were held for General Granbury’s monument. The base of the monument was complete.

Mar. 22, 1905,
The Round House, once located north of where Paluxy rd. crosses over 377, contained 14 rooms and a central hexagonal room that was 32 feet across.

Mar. 23, 1905,
The Round House was built completely out of imported wood and had a widow’s walk-on roof.

Mar. 24, 1850,
The first village east of the Brazos River was Comanche Peak Post Office, which was later named Acton.

Mar. 25, 1939,
Ashley W. Crockett, 82 years old, lived with the use of only one good eye.
