Hood County Deputies Catch Robbery Suspects

On 11-12-19 around 5am, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a
home invasion with shots fired at the 2600
block of Maplewood St. in Oak Trail Shores.
Deputies were told two armed men entered
the owner’s home taking property and shot
off several rounds during the incident.
A resident at the home was pistol whipped
during the robbery and received minor
injuries.
No one in the home was seriously injured
during the incident.

The suspects, who had fled the scene where
located by Deputies on Hwy. 51 North and
gave chase.
After a 40-minute car chase, the suspects
were stopped at XA Myer Rd. and Meander
Rd. and taken into custody.
Jason Keith Chadwick (34 yoa) and Michael
Conley Day (25 yoa) were taken into
custody without incident.
Both were charged with Aggravated
Robbery (felony 1), Evading Arrest in a
Motor Vehicle (felony 3), and Felon in
Possession of a Firearm (felony 3).

Also, Day has an Assault Family Violence
warrant (class A) and Chadwick has a Parole
warrant.
Both are currently in jail at press time.
