Hood County COVID-19 Interim Update – 3-5-2021 10AM

This is an update based on numbers from reports received from our testing locations on positive cases in the community to DSHS for Hood County.

DSHS Reports a total of 6245 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Hood County residents. (There have been 90 New Cases reported for March as of today) (154 Active Cases)

We are at 115 COVID positive deaths reported by DSHS for Hood County residents. ( 7 new deaths since the last update)

We have tested a total of 50,837 citizens in Hood County.

Our TSA Regional Hospital Rate as of 02/27/2021 is 8.63% – 6.37% under the 15% threshold required by the state.

Hood County is currently at SUBSTANTIAL risk of COVID-19 transmission.
