Teenage Skateboarder Killed in Hit and Run On Acton Highway

by | Apr 14, 2017

Thursday, April 13th, at around 10:00 PM, a passing motorist found the body of 19-year-old Blythe Craig Baggett (pictured above) laying in a ditch on Acton Highway and contacted the authorities. Baggett had been riding his skateboard on the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle heading westbound and was killed. The unknown driver fled the scene, and has yet to be located. There is no description of the suspect’s vehicle, but it is likely it has sustained damage from the event, possibly a black rear-view mirror.

Blythe is remembered by his friends “for his contagious smile, sense of humor, and kindness towards others.”
