Some of you may remember the beautiful Pit Bull that was hit in Tolar. A witness posted to social media while Hood County Animal Control was en route to see what they could do. HCAC then reached out to an animal rescue organization, Pippen’s Place.
This precious animal, who was named Harley by her rescuers, has spent a little time at Granbury Animal Clinic while she awaited a surgeon to be found for her injuries. The staff at Granbury Animal Clinic made sure she stayed comfortable and calm. Upon Harley’s pick up, it was said that Hood County Animal Control covered all costs that were incurred by her stay at the clinic.
According to Linda Palma from Pippen’s Place Animal Rescue, Harley is currently at vet clinic in Irving with a broken pelvis. She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning (8/11). Pippen’s Place Rescue wants to thank the donors to date, they will also be individually thanked on their Facebook page.
Keep in mind, if all the people that commented on the Facebook post donated $10, we could have most of Harley’s vet bills covered.
Pippen’s Place has a donate button on their Facebook page, they will also set up a GoFundMe account for her, which will be added to this article when available. Any checks should be made out to Pippen’s Place and mailed to Linda Palma 3005 Wingren Rd.Irving, Texas 75062
Folks, you wanted her safe and healthy! They can’t do it alone! Pippen’s Place and Harley need you!!
