Traffic stop yields drugs and tampering
charge

On 11-30-17 around 1030am, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic
stop at the 5300 block of Tin Top Hwy.
During the stop Jessie Frank Diaz (30 yoa)
was observed tossing out his window a
small baggie containing under a gram of
meth.
Diaz was arrested and charged with
Possession of a Controlled Substance (state
jail felony-bond $5,000) and Tampering
with Evidence (felony 3-bond $7,500).
Diaz is currently in jail at press time.
