A series of bad decisions sends couple to jail

On 3-10-18 around 630pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the
3800 block of Oak Meadow St. ref. a
disturbance.
Deputies discovered Lauren Elizabeth
Brannan (31 yoa) had caught her husband,
William Robert Miller (36 yoa) with his 32
year old girlfriend at their home on Oak
Meadow St.
During the incident Miller allegedly choked
Brannan with his hands.

Brannan allegedly presented a knife and cut
Miller’s hand and demanded the girlfriend’s
cell phone at knife point.
Miller was arrested and charged him with
Family Violence/Choking (felony 3-bond
$15,000).
Brannan was arrested and charged with
Family Violence Aggravated Assault with a
Deadly Weapon (felony 1-bond $50,000)
and Aggravated Robbery (felony 1-bond
$50,000).
No one was seriously injured during the
incident.
Both are currently in jail at press time.
