Man assaults girlfriend with walking stick

On 1-21-18 around 3pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies respond to a disturbance at the 3300 block of Oak Trail Dr.
Deputies discovered William Robert Miller (36 yoa) allegedly struck his 31 year old girlfriend in the head with a walking stick during an argument.
The victim was treated and released at the Lake Granbury Medical Center and was not seriously injured.
Miller alleged his girlfriend cut his hand with a knife during the argument, but the evidence at the scene supported Miller being the aggressor.

Miller was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
(felony 2-bond $500).

Miller is currently in jail at press time.
