Gun Call Results in Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Charge

On 8-1-19 around 830pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a
man with a gun call at the 7400 block of
Stonehill Ct. in Lipan.
Deputies discovered Nolan Curtis Cornelius
(36 yoa) allegedly threatened his 36-year-
old wife with a shotgun during an
argument.
No one was injured during the incident.
Cornelius was arrested and charged with
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
(felony 2-bond $20,000).
Cornelius is currently out of jail on bond at
press time.
