Grandmother Badly Beaten

On 5-29-18 around 830am, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the
2800 block of Cedarbrush St. ref. an assault.
Deputies discovered Gabriel Emmanuel
Peleberg (31 yoa) severely beat his 67 year
old grandmother during a disturbance.
The victim, who was seriously injured was
transported by air ambulance to Harris
Downtown and has multiple factual
fractures and is listed in serious condition in ICU.
The motive for the assault is not known at
this time and the case is still under investigation by the Hood County Sheriff’s Office.

Peleberg was arrested and charged with
Injury to the Elderly (felony 1-bond
$75,000).
Peleberg is currently in jail at press time.
