GPD Finds Explosive Devices in Vehicle at Race trac; Prompts Visit From ATF and Other Agencies

On 09-17-2021, officers with the Granbury Police Department encountered a vehicle which was reported to have been stolen. The two occupants were detained in the parking lot at Race Trac on South Morgan Street, and the vehicle was subsequently searched. Officers found three improvised explosive devices in the car during the search. Members of the Fort Worth Police Department Bomb Squad, Fort Worth Fire Department Bomb Squad, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents responded to assist. After the initial investigation, a Glen Rose woman who was a passenger was released with no charges. 41 year old Lancer Holloway of Houston was ultimately arrested for three counts of Possession of Prohibited Weapon for the explosive devices, and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle.
