Female Assaults Officer at Courthouse
On 10-25-18 around 2pm, Leslie Valentina
Moreno (20 yoa) was attending the
courtroom proceedings in the County Court
of Law at the Hood County Justice Center.
During which, it was discovered that
Moreno had 2 class C misd. warrants for her
arrest.
Courtroom officers attempted to arrest
Moreno and she became combative and
injured one female transport officer during
the scuffle.
The officer received cuts and scrapes to her
hand and arms, but is in good condition.
Moreno was eventually handcuffed and
transported to the Hood County Jail for
processing.
Moreno was charged with Assault on a
Public Servant (felony 3-bond $10,000) and
has a $5,000 bond on the 2 class C misd.
violations.
Moreno is currently in jail at press time.
