Father arrested for Injury to a Child
On 7-14-20 at 1am, Hood County Sheriff’s
Office Deputies arrested Jeffery Eugene
Cannon (43 YOA) at the 900 block of East
Hwy 377 for Injury to a Child (state jail
felony-bond $10,000).
The charge stems from a child abuse
investigation where Cannon allegedly
spanked his 8-year-old daughter leaving
severe bruising.
Cannon is currently in jail at press time.
