Update: Charges against 37 year old father, Randal Shane Cain have changed. Upon further investigation, the State Felony for Injury to a Child was dropped, on the grounds that parents are allowed to use corporal punishment. The charge for a Class A Misdemeanor for Family Violence Assault (class A misd-bond $2,500) remains.
On Thursday, April 20th around 1:30a.m.,
Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a disturbance call on the 600 block of Pine Lane in Tolar.
Deputies discovered 37 year old Randal Shane Cain allegedly slapped his 10 year old son in the back of the head and slapped a phone out of his 30 year old wife’s hand during an argument.
Cain was arrested and charged with Family Violence Assault (class A misd-bond $2,500).
