Evading Suspect Captured in Hood County

On 3-14-22 around 7pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a call of an active police pursuit involving multiple agencies that started in Brown County on a stolen dually truck from Coleman County.
The driver, Donald Lynn Goodwin (52 yoa), who eventually stopped at the 5400 block of West Hwy. 377.
Goodwin fled the vehicle on foot and was captured a short distance from the vehicle and was arrested.

Goodwin is charged with Evading Arrest with a Previous Conviction (state jail felony- bond not set).
Goodwin has other pending charges from multiple agencies because of the pursuit.
At press time Goodwin is currently in the Hood County Jail.
