Drunk Woman Arrested For Assaulting Paramedic Who Was Trying To Help Her

Intoxicated woman assaults paramedic

On 1-14-18 around 4pm Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to
the 2100 block of West Hwy. 377 to assist
Hood County EMS Paramedics with an
unconscious person.
Paramedics discovered Naomi Jane
Shockley (41 yoa) was not having medical
problems, but was intoxicated.
Before Deputies arrived, paramedics tried
to stop Shockley from driving off, due to her
being intoxicated.

During the contact with Shockley, she struck
a male paramedic several times with her
closed fist and tried to bite him.
Deputies arrived and arrested and charged
Shockley with Assault on a Paramedic
(felony 3-bond $20,000).
No one was seriously injured and Shockley
is currently out of jail on bond at press time.
