Drug investigations nets 2 suspects
On 5-21-21 around 6pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit conducting a drug investigation arrested Tracy Lee Thurman (56 yoa) and Jere Lynn Powell (51 yoa) at the 700 block of Bluebonnet Dr.
Thurman was charged with Man/Del of a Controlled Substance (felony 1-bond $100,000) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (state jail felony-bond $10,000).
Powell was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (felony 2-bond $20,000).
The charges stem from the two possessing over 92 grams of meth and under a gram of THC liquid.
Both are currently out of jail on bond at press time.
