Domestic Violence Incident Results In Felony Charge

On Friday, July 14th around noon, a 47 years old female came to the Hood County Sheriff’s Office to report her 47 year old boyfriend had allegedly choked her and took her cell phone to prevent her from calling 911 at the 1600 block of Apache Trail during an argument.
Deputies located Michael Alling Sockol and arrested and charged him with Family Violence Choking (felony 3-bond $15,000) and Interfering in an Emergency Call (class B
misd-bond $3,000).
Sockol is currently out of jail on bond at
press time.
