Disturbance Lead To DWI and Felony Charges

On 11-13-18 around 945pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a
disturbance at the 3600 block of
Montgomery Dr.
Deputies discovered Ryan Kristian
McDonald (38 yoa) allegedly assaulted his
37 year old girlfriend by striking her head
and body.
McDonald also allegedly pointed a handgun
at the victim and made threats to harm her.
The victim was not seriously injured during
the incident.

McDonald, who was intoxicated left the
scene and was later apprehended by
Deputies when he showed back up at the
residence.
McDonald was arrested and charged with
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
(felony 1-bond $50,000), Continuous Family
Violence Assault (felony 3-bond $30,000),
and DWI (class A misd-bond $3,000).
McDonald is currently out of jail on bond at
press time.
