Couple linked to multiple battery thefts

On 9-13-18 around 730pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested
Cameron Thomas Fountain (22 yoa) and
Alexandria Katherine Moore (21 yoa) in
Arlington Texas, in connection to multiple
battery thefts from cell phone towers all
over Texas.
The charges stem from a Hood County case at the 6500 block of Williamson Rd. where 12 batteries were taken from a cell tower site on 8-6-18.
Hood County Sheriff’s Office Investigators
conducting the investigation linked Fountain to over $500,000 worth of
batteries taken from cell towers scattered
all over the State of Texas.
The investigation showed Moore assisted
Fountain on some of the thefts.
Fountain is charged with Theft (felony 2-
bond $50,000) and is currently in jail.
Moore is charged with Theft (state jail
felony-bond $7,500) and is out of jail on
bond.
The case is still under investigation by the
Hood County Sheriff’s Office and more
charges could be pending.
