Hickson Final Autopsy Report Completed

The Hood County Sheriff’s Office and Fire
Marshal’s Office has received the final
autopsy report from the Tarrant County
ME’s Office on Angela Hickson, whose body
was found at a car fire in Lake Granbury
Harbor on 6-27-19.
The report lists the cause of death as an
“Inhalation of products of combustion due
to motor vehicle fire”.
All evidence available to investigators leans
towards an accidental death.
Hickson had several medical problems and
her vehicle was stuck on a berm of dirt, which facilitated the grass underneath the
vehicle to ignite.
Hickson’s blood levels from the toxicology
report show she had numerous prescription
drugs and alcohol in her system.
This may explain how her front wheel drive
vehicle ended up stuck on a berm of dirt.
The stress of the fire may have caused a
medical issue, causing her to pass out near
the car. Where the fire quickly consumed
her, causing her death.
