According to Cliff Andrews Deputy Chief of Police, the bus was reported to the Granbury Police Department as an attempt to locate on 5-4-21. The caller was concerned about the driver’s actions while operating the vehicle. GPD officers located the bus and stopped the vehicle in the 1000 block of Loop 567.
Officers identified the driver and conducted a short roadside interview. The driver was not intoxicated. In conversation with representatives from GISD the decision was made to transport the children to school on another bus.
