Boyfriend arrested for Family Violence
On 11-8-20 around 830pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a
disturbance at the 3600 block of Sundown
Trail.
Deputies discovered Shane Christopher
Bateman (45 yoa) allegedly assaulted his
58-year-old girlfriend during an argument
and resisted Deputies during his arrest.
The victim was not seriously injured during
the incident, nor was any Deputies.
Bateman was charged with Assault Family
Violence with Previous Conviction (felony 3
bond $10,000) and Resisting Arrest (class A
misd-bond $2,500).
Bateman is currently in jail at press time.
